Our Community

Caddo is a community that demonstrates its concern for residents of all ages and interests.

Boland Park offers a playground and picnic areas for young families. The small community building in the park can be rented for parties, receptions and meetings.

Our downtown pavillion offers a place for young residents to play basketball, and may also be reserved by groups for personal or community events.

The Senior Citizen Nutrition Center, just west of the business district, serves meals Monday through Friday, and offers seniors a safe place to socialize and play dominoes or other activities. This historic community center is on the National Register of Historic Places and holds fond memories for generations of Caddo families. It can be rented for reunions, wedding receptions, benefit suppers, and other activities.

Caddo is home to six churches:
First Baptist Church
First Church of the Nazarene
The Church of Christ
The Full Gospel Church
The Methodist Church
The Presbyterian Church

Caddo public schools offer classes from Pre-kindergarten through high school. Extracurricular activities enjoyed by our students include the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), Future Farmers of America (FFA), Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), football, softball, cross country, basketball, baseball, and track.www.caddoisd.org
